We’re thrilled that you’ve found us within the tumult of the internet. We’ve been told time and again the difficulty of finding real support outside of the school system. We are unique in that we have been focused on special education since our inception more than 40 years ago, and we pride ourselves in our success with kids who have not previously excelled.
We were founded by Dr. Paula Cornelius-Lopez who was in charge of special & remedial education for the Pleasant Valley School District for many years. We have steadily built upon our experience with a wide range of special needs; always improving and applying those improvements.

We have taught phonics, word recognition, core math, and communication to students who were not expected to be able to achieve any of these things. Using new technologies, we have helped give voice to non-verbal students. With highly tailored programs and great care, we have helped students improve their ability to interact with the world around them. Special-needs students thrive with our motivation.
